Samsung announced the release of four smartphones. While there is no shortage of interest in these handsets, feel that they do not live up to expectations. They claim Samsung is repeating Apple mistake by releasing these phones on the market.
According to critics, Samsung’s first mistake was high price handset. Most of the phones that have been released in the market are out of the reach users or the buyers are not willing to spend so much money.
For example, new market, entry-level Galaxy Ten E phone has been priced at 749$. Samsung has also announced Galaxy Ten 899$ and the Ten Plus for 999$. If you want to add new storage RAM, the cost will also increase. Usually, users do not feel much incentive at such costs.
Samsung’s second mistake is new phones do not have any features that stimulate interest. Buyers are likely to call everyone who looks appropriate if there are only a few cameras, a better screen and a faster data transfer. Some again emphasizes the longevity of the battery. However, it seems that the development of these features has stopped.
Samsung new phones have a colourful display, a hidden fingerprint reader, and wireless headphones and charging on the back of the phone. However, many Samsung phones already have similar benefits.
Another mistake of Samsung is not looking at China. But the country is now one of the major smartphone markets in the world. Samsung is not among the top five brands in China.
Market experts say competing phone makers have benefited from Apple mistakes. Now Samsung is going to give them the same opportunity. If this happens, doubtful whether Samsung will be able to maintain its position in the smartphone market in the future.
